About
I'm a Senior Application Security Engineer based in the Tampa Bay area, specializing in offensive security, AI-first development, and secure software engineering.
With 10+ years in security, including an early stretch in the Intelligence Community, I work alongside software engineers to find and prove real weaknesses, then help fix them without slowing delivery.
At Las Vegas Sands, I build the offensive tooling our team uses to find and prove real weaknesses in applications, infrastructure, the software supply chain, and AI systems. Most of that tooling is written by AI agents I direct, so a big part of the job is context engineering, keeping a human in the loop, and owning the results. My daily workflow pairs Claude with Burp and Kali.
I hold a Master's in Cybersecurity Technology, a B.S. in Computer Science from Indiana University, and certifications including GPEN, GCIH, CEH, Security+, and ITIL.
Off the clock you'll find me on the golf course, doing astrophotography, playing chess, cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning, chasing national parks, or spending time with family.
