Well hello there! I'm a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer based in the Tampa Bay area, specializing in application security, penetration testing, and cloud security.
With 10+ years across the Intelligence Community, DoD, state government, and the private sector, I work alongside software engineers to secure the systems that matter, building practical, drama-free security programs that help teams ship confidently and securely.
At TekStream, I build and scale AppSec programs, architecting CI/CD-integrated scanning across 500+ repositories and 20 teams, advising executives on tooling and risk, and leading a 15-engineer DevSecOps Guild. I also built a custom MCP server that pairs Claude with Burp and Kali for AI-assisted pentesting.
AppSec Galaxy Open-source, AI-powered security scanner (Semgrep, Gitleaks & Trivy) with cross-file attack-chain analysis and automatic code fixes, delivered via PR of course. 🙂I hold a Master's in Cybersecurity Technology, a B.S. in Computer Science from Indiana University, and certifications including GPEN, GCIH, CEH, Security+, and ITIL.
Off the clock you'll find me on the golf course, playing chess, at the gym, cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning, chasing national parks, or spending time with family.
